T R A V E L // B E R L I N - city guide
So, my first city guide & what a cracker to start with, Berlin!
Berlin has become a pretty popular place to jet off to for a good old city break & when we were planning our trip blog posts & Instragram were so valuable when trying to source little gems to visit in the city. I know a lot of you followed along in real-time on my Instagram stories but for those of you who missed them, I thought you might appreciate a list of places that we enjoyed so you can plan your own trip!

Accommodation:
The apartment we stayed in was through Airbnb. It was situated in the district of Fennpuhl, to the North East of the city centre. There were plenty of amenities around, it was a quiet area & seemed pretty safe & travelling to the centre was fairly quick via the underground. If we were to go back to Berlin we would definitely want to spend a night or two at the 25hrs hotel as it looks pretty rad & is situated right by the Berlin Zoo in the district of Bikini, though the room prices there are much more expensive than your standard Airbnb.
£: £45 - 50 a night

Good Bank:
Now, have you ever been to a salad farm? NO? Well this one is pretty damn cool & the interiors are something else! Good Bank grow their own salad & display it for all to see in pink neon lit tanks. Opening hours are 11:30 - 22:00 Monday to Sunday & situated extremely close to Alexanderplatz, Good Bank Berlin is very easy to find. There is indoor & outdoor seating & they serve an array of salads, sandwiches, small snacks & of course desserts. Alongside this they have a pretty well priced drinks list. Personally we spent the evening drinking Prossecco & Friday German beer.
£: 4 - 5 euros a drink (alcoholic)
Voo Store & Companion Coffee:
If you are into fashion & coffee then it would be worth taking a trip to Voo which is situated in the district of Kreuzberg. If you aren't planning a trip to Berlin any time soon though you can also shop via their website. Stocking fashion brands such as APC, Charlie May, Marni, Acne & Nike. They also sell numerous magazines, books & premium homeware trinkets. Considering it is a high-end shop it has a very relaxed feel & all staff were extremely happy & polite. Again, like Klunkerkranich, Voo would fit into Manchester's NQ very well. Opening hours are 10:00 - 20:00 Monday - Saturday. Companion Coffee serve their specialty tea & coffee from their cafe space in Voo store where you can sit by the French windows with a top-notch coffee, look out into the courtyard while reading one of their many magazines & soak up the atmosphere.
£: As the brands they sell are high end, they are pretty much priced like you would expect to find anywhere else online. Coffee & tea are priced at 2.50 - 3 euros.

House Of Small Wonder:
Brunch is always on the top of our daily to-do list when we go to a new city so were always on the look out for places that serve great breakfast food, especially ones that have strong interior game. House of Small Wonder did not disappoint on the food or interior front, in fact, probably one of the bets breakfasts we've ever eaten! It's a pretty magical place to walk into as you are greeted by a beautifully decorated foyer & an incredible spiral staircase adorned with tropical plants which ascends to the dining area. HOSW is located just off Friedrichstrasse & is open 9 - 5 Monday to Sunday. Staff were friendly & attentive & the general atmosphere was pleasant.
£: It's worth noting that this place is cash only. Food is priced between 6 & 11 euros & hot drinks are roughly 3 - 4 euros.

Beets & Roots:
This quirky, veggie focused restaurant that specialises in Buddha bowls is the perfect pit-stop for a non-heavy but filling lunch. You can eat in or take your food to go. We opted to eat in as, as usual, we wanted to soak up the incredible interior while we dined. Located just north of the city centre, Beets & Roots offer a range of meat, veggie & vegan options, you can check out their entire menu on their website. Staff were all friendly & helpful even when the Instagram husband & I were getting under their feet when we we trying to score that 'perfect shot'. Opening hours are 11 - 9:30 Monday to Sunday.
£: Averaging about 10 euros per meal, including a drink.
Instagram: @beetsandroots

Monkey Bar:
This place gets busy & it's understandable why. The views are stunning as it famously looks over Berlin Zoo & the music is on form. Located in the 25 Hours Hotel, Bikini this rooftop bar is one you are going to want to put on your Berlin to-do list. I would recommend that you visit the Monkey Bar late afternoon though before the evening drinkers start piling in. This way you will be able to enjoy your drinks in one of the sofa areas by the window & thoroughly take in the view of the city. The cocktails are on the expensive side which was to be expected but they are not stingy on the alcohol content. Overall the atmosphere was sound & the bar staff were polite. Opening hours are 12:00 - 2am Monday - Sunday.
£: Cocktails are from 10 euros, table service is extra (we didn't opt for this) & I have heard that it's not that great for what you pay for so best to go to the bar for your own drinks to save the hassle.

Klunkerkranich Rooftop Bar:
This spot wouldn't be out of place in Manchester's Northern Quarter to be honest! If you are looking for amazing views of the city, good drinks, good music, good food then you need to visit Klunkerkranich rooftop bar. Opening hours are 10:00 - 2:00am Monday - Saturday & 12:00 - 2:00am Sundays & it is situated on top of the Neukolln Arcaden shopping centre. Simply get the lift to the 5th floor & walk across the car park to the secret rooftop. There are two sides, one where you can hang around & get some amazing panoramas & the other which has the bar, music, food & the city view of course! It is 3 euros entry to the bar area but for the view & atmosphere it's totally worth it! Make sure you have a go in the vintage photobooth too!
£: 3 euros entry with drinks being about 5 euros
Instagram: @klunkerkranich

Honorable mentions:
Angry Chicken is an amazing Korean fried chicken restaurant, check out their website, the design is deliberately vulgar but I kind of love it (hahahah) Roamers is a great stop for a coffee, the plant themed interior is beautiful, well worth a visit. Schiller Burger Bar was the perfect joint for a classic burger in a box burger. Bikini Shopping Centre is located right next to Berlin Zoo & Hotel 25 Hours & is full of independent shops art installations & our favourite photobooth machine! Peter Pane - another brilliant burger restaurant, so much choice, great drinks & pretty damn cheap! I thought it was also worth mentioning that there was a huge variety of vegetarian & vegan options all around the city, even in the airport! Honestly, I couldn't believe how much choice there was!
For those of you planning your trips, I hope this post is as helpful for you as everyone who sent us suggestions made it for us! Massive thank you to everyone who sent us suggestions!

White slide on shoes: ASOS
I don't often buy new shoes but since we moved house & having to sort all my shoes out I realised that they are all completely battered! So what does one do when they need shoes? Goes & scrolls endlessly through ASOS obviously!
I wan't looking for anything in particular, just something comfortable & minimal. I came across the MAKE IT HAPPEN pointed flat shoes, instantly put them in my basket & that was that!
They arrived & I can confirm they are so comfortable & so pretty! I have't actually worn them out yet because they are not very weather appropriate at the moment & I don't want to ruin their shiny whiteness in the rain but I'm sure you will be seeing them on my feet in an outfit post eventually.
Have you bought any new shoes from ASOS recently?

Pink hair dye: Carnation pink by La Riche Directions // Peach hair dye: Awkward Peach by Bleach London
If you know me or have been following me since my 'effiesmakeupbox' days, you'll know that I am no stranger to the hair dye bottle. I have basically had every colour under the sun on my head in my lifetime. Seriously, you name the colour, I have probably had it in my hair at some point!
I had my orange and red hair for a good 5 years, probably the longest I have ever kept a hair colour & also my favourite but it's always nice to have a change every now & again.
If you follow me on Twitter / Instagram you will probably have noticed that I had been groing my roots out for a good 18 months & my roots were pretty long. I did this for a couple of reasons, one because my scalp really doesn't enjoy hair dye & I thought it deserved a bit of a rest & two I kind of wanted to know what my natural hair looked like because I hadn't seen it for a good 15 years FIFTEEN YEARS!
Anyway, long story short I have been toying with the idea of getting rid of my roots & going full pink for a good few months now & as you can see from the image above, I finally took the plunge! Now I don't want to make this blog post majorly long so if you are interested in how I achieved this look, let me know & I'll film a video explaining everything!
What do you think of my new hair colour? Have you ever dyed your hair pink? Would you ever dye your hair an 'unnatural' colour?

Seriously though, I am feeling super motivated with my blog right now so I am literally just going to go with it. If my brain is telling we it wants to blog, I'ma blog! If I feel like making a video, then that's what I'm going to do!
Enjoy my March Lookbook. I am going to try & make them a regular thing (monthly hopefully) but let me know your thoughts. Do you prefer fashion videos? Hauls? Lifestyle? Vlogs? LET.ME.KNOW!

R A M B L E :
Well it's been a little while since I've done this! I have to admit it felt a bit strange standing in a public place taking outfit photos. I was so used to doing it 4 years ago, it was just so normal having people walk past & watching but I have to admit, I did feel a little cringe when we were taking these. Not because I was embarrassed as such, more that I felt totally out of practice! I'm pretty sure after a few more attempts it will all be 'normal' again.
O U T F I T :
I have really been digging minimal style at the moment. Clean cuts & muted colours really do seem the way forward. Comfort is also key for me as there's nothing worse than feeling totally uncomfortable in an outfit whether I'm wearing it all day or just a few hours, it must be as comfortable as possible.
These split front leggings by Cheap Monday are my new go-to trousers. Considering they are actually leggings, they are pretty flattering. The cut is not too tight & I am a huge fan of the split ankle detail. They definitely tick all the comfort boxes too!
Can we talk about the 'man repeller' that I am wearing on my head? I call it the man repeller as it seems almost every dude that has come into contact with me whilst I've been wearing it has either compared me to George RR Martin or Captain Birdseye, HA! I'm a big fan of the baker boy hat myself hence why I'm wearing mine but I am curious to hear your opinions!
Sorry again for my rustiness but I guess I'll sign off with a 'speak to you soon' as I am planning on making this whole blog post thing a lot more regular again!

For those of you who don't know MyBag is an online handbag & accessories shop full of the latest luxury & designer pieces (shop MyBag New In) & I was lucky enough to be invited along to their blogger event at Artisan Kitchen & Bar in Spinningfields, Manchester.
Aside from catching up with fellow blogger comrades & supping on a cocktail or two. The MyBag Spring Summer 2016 collection was strong! With a mixture of pastel pompom designs from GRAFEA to the novelty Lulu Guinnes clutch bags. The product styling was also on point! I'm talkin' flowers everywhere! And when is that ever a bad thing?
Since getting my Alexander Wang bag it has made me appreciate designer bags on a whole new level & seeing all of these beautiful bags laid out was a real treat. Maybe it's time for me to film a classic 'What's in my handbag' video for my YouTube!
I'm off to have a rummage through the goodie bag MyBag kindly gifted to us! (I'm sure I'll be sharing the contents of that on here soon too!) Thanks for having us MyBag!

So with Christmas just around the corner, I am sure you are all on the hunt for Christmas Gifts for your friends & family! Well, these Scrabble Lights from IWOOT are a pretty amazing choice! Whether you are giving them as a Christmas gift or just wanting some extra decoration for your abode the Scrabble lights are perfect for anyone who loves unusual, retro or unique decor.
The Scrabble lights come with 60 re-usable stickers so you can write whatever you want (as long as it is within 10 characters or less) Such a great way to give a personilised gift. They are great for any occasion to be honest. You can use them as Birthday bunting or even stick motivational & inspirational words on them (Pinterest style!) and hang them up in your office/workspace!
It took me a little while to decide exactly what I wanted to spell out on the lights but I eventually sent with the word 'fancy' cos, why the hell not! As he really hates cheesy word decor Liam suggested some words of profanity (which is an idea I really liked actually, it's very 'us' hahahah so yeah, that might happen in the future as it would be so funny for someone to walk into your house, it look all normal & stuff then there's just Scrabble Lights with the word 'Fuck' or 'Twat' hanging on the wall hahahah!)
Anyway... the Scrabble Lights themselves are actually really bright (which I love) & they can be plugged into a USB port or you can slot the USB unto the plug head which is included. I personally prefer to use the plug head but the USB wire is such a good idea too!
At the moment the Scrabble Lights are actually just £16.99 on IWOOT for a limited time! (RRP £25) so get your butts on the site quick if you are after some for Christmas gifts!
What would you write on the Scrabble Lights?
As usual, feel free to leave your comments down below or drop me a tweet @sugarpea_ & you can catch me on Instagram @sugarpea_

H A R R Y P O T T E R - L O N D O N
I have been meaning to write this post up for so long! I have just not had time to do anything blog related (cry me a fucking river) but hey, I'm here now! You may have seen the Harry Potter haul that I uploaded to YouTube if not, you should totally go & watch it, yeah? ;)
As you can see, I took a million photos & I wanted to take a million more but we went before I bought my new camera & my iphone was already struggling to cope with the amount of pictures I was already making it snap hahahah so yeah, not the best quality but who really gives a damn? I'm sure we'll be going back again so I will be mega prepared next time! (':
My favourite bit...it's kind of hard to pick a favourite to be honest! It was all so good! I'm sure my fellow Potterheads will agree! We probably spent most of our time on Platform 9 3/4 with the The Hogwarts Express but that was mainly because it took me literally 6,824,965 attempts to get the perfect shot of me running through the wall! I COULDN'T DO IT OK!? (': Liam did it straight away (he had totally been practicing in Sanisbury's car park with a trolly or something! Hahahahah!) It really did take me about 15 attempts though & eventually I had to just settle with the best of a bad bunch (see above) ha! I will be practicing before we go next time for sure!
Another section of the tour that took my breath away was the room with the model of Hogwarts (first picture) it.was.amazing! That's all I am going to say, you need to actually go to understand the awesomeness! Go & book your tickets now!!!
The butterbeer was surprisingly good! I had heard majorly bad things about it, loads of people on their Warner Brothers Studio Tours vlogs on YouTube reacted to it like they had just downed a bucket of piss but they couldn't be more wrong! It tasted like honey Iron Bru with Marshmallow Fluff on top. Bloody divine it was!
I'll stop rambling now as you all probably want to go & watch my vlog ;) hahahah & look at the WB Studio tour website but feel free to leave your comments down below or drop me a tweet @sugarpea_ There are also a million photos on my Instagram @sugarpea_

Disney Vans: ASOS
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
OK, so... if you are here it's probably because you already know that I am into Disney & you are probably aware (especially if you follow me on Snapchat) that I wear my Vans to death!
I posted the box on my Instagram & Twitter as I thought it would be fun for you guys to try & guess which ones I picked so I guess this post is the big reveal *oooh the excitement* I bet you couldn't sleep for wondering! ;) Well I have put you out of your misery now so I hope you like them as much as I do!
A couple of months ago, I discovered that Vans were teaming up with Disney to do a range of men's & women's footwear & apparel (see the original post here, it's awesome, go & look)
After seeing the designs, I knew it wouldn't be long before I was strutting around with a pair on my feet, my only issue was that I couldn't choose which ones I wanted to buy! DILEMMA!
I finally caved the other day & decided that I was going to buy myself a pair as a kind of 'well done on getting your new job' gift to myself (ahahahah, like I needed an excuse!) I ummed & aaahhhed over two pairs in particular (Ariel & Jasmine) for an age! In the end I chose the Princess Jasmine ones purely because they are a darker colour so they are easier to keep looking kind of clean & I know I will get more ware out of them.
These particular ones are off ASOS & you can get them in Women's, Men's & kid's sizes!
Are these the ones you thought I would pick? Do you have any of the Disney Vans? Let me know in the comments or you can tweet me @sugarpea_
