I haven't watched the finale episode yet & wont be until late tonight so no spoilers ^_^ but since I haven't posted any of my drawings for a while, I thought it would be fun to celebrate the end of season 5 Game Of Thrones with a GOT themed digi sketch I did a little while ago.

I have already drawn Arya, Cersei & Daenerys (click the links to see) & Sansa was part of the project I set myself too. I never draw human portraits but I have had fun getting to grips with these ladies faces & I am happy with the outcome of all four.

I love Sansa. She has grown so much as a character over the past 5 seasons & she has been especially good in season 5, she's almost as badass as her sister now! I love it when she has her hair down rather than plonked on her head like a croissant so I drew a slightly earlier version of her, I hope you like it.

Now I just need to get to grips with drawing mens faces. Why are they so much harder to draw?! I was going to try & doodle Stannis but after what he did last week, I can't bring myself to look at him! >.< Maybe I'll have a go at sketching Ramsey or Joffrey? Any suggestions are welcome :)

So this is a more recent drawing I have done (hence why my new watermark is on there ^_^) As you can see, it's another Game Of Thrones babe.

Now although I think Daenerys is a fabulous character, I do think the show fixates on her a little too much sometimes, you know, just for the sake of having her in the episode but in saying that, I still think she's great & I have really enjoyed her so far in season 5.

Anywhoo, I hope you like my drawing. This one was a little 'harder' than the others as her hair was a little tricky, I had to tone down my scribble lines a lot so that her plaits still showed through hahah, overall though, I'm pretty happy with the outcome!

Sooo, drawing board round two!

Thank you all for the amazing comments about my Arya sketch on twitter, I really wasn't expecting such a vast response :') I will deffo be continuing with this weekly feature now I know you are interested! ^_^

This week is the turn of Cersei Lannister. I's only the second portrait I have ever done *gasps* but I am pretty happy with the outcome to be honest. Like I said on my last DB post (here) I don't like to draw realism because, quite frankly, I'm really crap at it so I take a more painterly approach to my work.

Her lips are a little messed up, more because I am lazy & couldn't be bothered trying to make them better so after about 1482 times of trying, I gave up kept them simple.

Cersei (flippin'eck her name is hard to spell hahahah) is one of my favorite characters, mainly because she thinks she's so clever, when in fact, she's really not & everything she seems to do goes tits up (': She is such a great character to watch & her hair always looks flawless which is a big plus!
